Bosonium
One pulse. One decision. Make it count.
One Calorie is a pulse-based strategy puzzle. A beat fires, a window opens, and you have one action: move through hostile tissue, attack a bacterium, shield against a hit, or freeze a cluster in place. Miss the window and the enemies move without you.

Every pulse fires. Only one action gets through.
One Calorie
The route is there. Finding it under pressure is the game.
A beat fires every pulse and a short window opens for your action. Move through tight corridors, attack bacteria one step away, defend before a hit lands, or paralyze a cluster and freeze the 3×3 zone around it. Chain the same action three times to trigger a combo. Miss the window and every enemy moves without you.
Read the Pulse
A beat fires on a fixed rhythm. Your action window opens and closes before the next pulse. Act in time or let the bacteria move first.
Choose your Action
Move through hostile tissue, attack an adjacent bacterium, raise a shield before the next hit, or freeze a cluster in place with a paralyze.
Build Momentum
Three of the same action triggers a combo: DASH for a double step, BURST to hit every adjacent enemy, FORTRESS to tank multiple hits, LOCKDOWN to freeze a wider zone for longer.
Find the Route
Every level has a shortest path. Complete the room for one star, then finish in sixteen turns or fewer while taking no more than one hit for the second. The route is there — finding it is the game.
FAQ
A few quick answers
What kind of game is One Calorie?
A turn-based strategy puzzle set inside a biological environment. Each pulse gives you one action window. The goal is to guide your cell to the exit while managing bacteria, viruses, boss organisms, and a two-star mastery system built around clean, fast clears.
How does the pulse system work?
The game runs on a fixed beat. An action window opens each round and closes before the next pulse fires. If you do not act in time, the enemies move and your cell stays put. Timing your input correctly is part of the challenge.
How do the star ratings work?
Completing a level earns one star. A second star comes from finishing in sixteen turns or fewer while taking no more than one hit. Stored top-rank routes can be previewed in the mission brief before each attempt.
What are boosters?
Optional items equipped before a run. Vaccine absorbs one incoming hit, Pulse Extender lengthens the action window each pulse, and Path Echo reveals a stored top-rank route. They are earned through standout play and boss rewards.
